In Kayland outdoor collection for 2019, there is a new model, available in men's and women's versions, which satisfies the ever-increasing demand for a versatile, lightweight and breathable shoe, to safely tackle mixed routes, even prolonged hiking sessions and all the activity during the summer.

Taiga GTX has been developed and built precisely keeping these canons in mind, and is one of the most important innovations of the next collection. The last, differentiated between man and woman with anatomic padding and remodeled interior spaces, is tailor-made for hiking, therefore with maximum support in the plantar area, comfort at the toe and secure ankle locking in every phase of the stride. The upper is made in sturdy suede leather, anti-abrasion and anti-wear, with inserts in synthetic fabric to provide maximum foot transpiration and allow a correct regulation of the microclimate inside the boot, a feature that is enhanced by the presence of the Gore-Tex membrane, the top feature available on the market for impermeability and breathability. The Taiga has mid cut to better support the ankle and protection from impacts with rocks and obstacles. The extended lacing makes it easy to make adjustments along the routes for a constantly customized fit. All these elements are at the same time performing and light, increasing the all-around performance of this shoe.

Finally, the sole block of Taiga GTX is shock absorbing, stable and precise, thanks to the simultaneous presence of a double density microporous wedge, which ensures an effective dissipation of impacts with the ground and greater adaptability to the roughest terrain, and of the Vibram outsole with adherent compound, layered with a self-cleaning design of the lugs giving an ideal traction for all surfaces, also slippery and impervious.
