Designed for trekking and backpacking enthusiasts, the Cross Mountain W's GTX model represents the ideal compromise between the lightness of a hiking boot and the technicality of a structured one. Thanks to this effective mix, it therefore lends itself to a transversal use, on mixed and challenging terrains, even for mountaineering expeditions at medium altitudes. It is the perfect choice for those women working and living in the mountains, for the professional mountain guides and for those who love the mountains in every season.
Developed on a specific last for the female foot, the upper is made of suede leather and very technical synthetic fabric inserts, with anti-cut treatment, for greater durability and resistance to abrasion. A rubber band applied on the upper wraps around the boot and protects from rock spikes and obstacles along the way. The Ankle Lock technology, present on the heel and ankle, increases the degree of protection in this delicate area of the foot, keeping it in the correct position during the activity. The upper is matched to the Gore-Tex membrane, the top to ensure total waterproofness and breathability to the outside, increasing comfort and providing the ability to use the shoe for prolonged periods and in every season.
The sole block is derived from the alpine experience to give excellent performance on every surface: the wedge is in double density microporous, shock-absorbing, light and stable, with tpu insert on the heel for semi-automatic crampons use. The outsole Mulaz Evo by Vibram was chosen to guarantee grip and traction in all conditions, thanks to the specific compound for mountain and 5 mm high lugs.
