Outdoor, relax, mountain and action - the key features and a solid organization behind a great adventure park
Just few kilometers far from Turin, in Susa valley, next to the imposing Sagra of San Michele, which tops the homonymous hill, a group of climbers, alpinists, guide, skiers and mountain lovers manages the Parco Avventura Orma (Orma is the acronym for Outdoor, Relax, Mountain, Action), which Kayland supports as technical partner. Thanks to the geographic position (it is right next to natural park of Orsiera-Rocciavrè) it is possible to sport there and in the nearby a variety of mountain and outdoor activities.
Orma offers so climbing routes on Susa cliffs, via ferrata, alpinism with tours on Monviso and Mont Blanc, canyoning, rafting, MTB, and with the structures in the Park it’s easy to try or to train the slackline, the new discipline born as an integration to climbing, that through the years has seen its fans grow exponentially. It consists of walk, keep balance or make evolutions on a thin line, flexible and elastic, which has ben anchored to two points.
In the Park there are two adventure route, easy and medium, with Tibetan bridges, ideal to discover limits upon altitude and to test ability on mixed terrains.
Kayland ambassador Salvo Giani is one of the most prominent members of the staff at Parco Avventura. His experience on the Alps, with a vast knowledge of Mont Blanc and Dolomites, is a great plus for the Park.
Kayland has been also proudly supporting the event “Camminare nel Cielo” (“walking in the sky”) held last June in Villar Focchiardo, featuring high tightrope funambulist Andrea Loreni, which recalled a great number of visitors and mountain lovers.
