SEB BOUIN CONQUERS PACHAMAMA| He adds his name to a shortlisted élite
New important feat for our strong athlete Seb Bouin, who managed to close the great Pachamama route, on the wall of Oliana, in Spain. Enthusiastic about this result, the French climber sent us some lines that we share with great pleasure.
On the last few days everything went well, and I had the chance to send the king line Pachamama in Oliana!
This line is for me one of the best in Oliana (or, to be clear, the best).
The effort is pure endurance, my best style. This route is on the middle of the "blue wave" of Oliana. The crux are super fun to climb. You can fight until your arms explodes. At the end of the route there is a tricky slab to finish. Some climbers fell, up there. I knew it and luckily I didn't fall in this last slab.
I am happy to add my name to this short list: Chris Sharma, Sachi Amma, Jonathan Siegrist, Jakob Schubert, Adam Ondra, and Patxi Usobiaga.
About the grade, it could be a hard 9a+ - 5.15a (some climbers proposed 9a+/b - 5.15a/b). If I compare the difficulty of my latest routes I did in France (in Verdon with "la côte d'usure" and the French Chilam Balam), I think that Pachamama is easier. I would be super exited if some other climber would come and try my routes, in order to have more opinions.
Now heading towards other projects!
