Teofil is a complete mountaineer, who really practices many disciplines in the mountain world: in addition to alpine and Himalayan expeditions, he performes rock climbing and ice climbing, but his real passion is the opening of new routes on the highest in the world, above six thousand meters of altitude.
In his career he has already achieved prestigious milestones: just three years after starting the activity, he conquered the peak of Mont Blanc in 2002, and then started an escalation of performances that lead him to the summit of Nanga Parbat, in 2013, one of the most difficult peaks of the Himalayan group. In the meantime, he closed numerous ascents in the Andes, Karakorum, Kazakhstan, Africa and opened many new routes on the beloved Romanian mountains and in the Caucasus.
